Welcome to Wandrlust and welcome to the end of malaise.

How often do you find yourself sitting in your home, wishing there was something to do? Brutally fighting with your significant other or dealing with your own indecision regarding where to eat? Every place we live, or want to visit, has something interesting waiting to be uncovered and here at Wandrlust we do the work for you.

With an architectural bent, Wandrlust (who needs a silent ‘e’ anyway) is a site devoted to the art of travel and urban exploration. Whether it’s food, overlooked travel destinations, roadside architecture, or even an undiscovered gem in your backyard, anything is game as long as it’s more interesting then not making a choice at all.

Today’s culture exploits the idea of familiarity, a familiarity that pigeonholes our choices. People eat at Chili’s because they know it, not because it is good and the act of trying somewhere new can sometimes be risky business, ending up in a not so happy trip to the bathroom.

We here at Wandrlust are taking malaise and indecision head on. Our goal is to share our wisdom, brilliance, big smarts, and well researched finds with you. Giving you addresses, reviews, photo and video content – there is a myriad of possibilities for super neat awesome time adventure… time.

As the site grows, so will our ability to present you information – there is much planned for the future - but for now, receive us and let us fill you with our Wandrlust.
